What a weekend! Our holiday was filled with all of the usual joy and merriment that Easter brings.  It’s been a while since I did a photo essay, so I thought there’s no better time like the present! Here’s our Easter weekend in 10 photos. All were taken with my iPhone 6 Plus, with little or no editing.

This picture (and 3 others that are similar) hang in my hallway. The actual painting isn’t new to this Easter but they are a special reminder of family activities we’ve participated in to commemorate the Easter season. I think when we took a family painting class on Palm Sunday about two years ago.

The kids told me that they wanted to resurrect the Easter traditions of their youth. So we dyed eggs!

This was from the dessert table at church. My friend Marcy said that Jesus died so we could have dessert. One quick text to my Weight Watchers support group and I compromised. I hat one-half of the cupcake.
