2016 Mazda CX-5
What’s sleek, smooth, and red all over? Hint: In our case it was soul red metallic, but it has also been spotted zooming around town in crystal white pearl mica, meteor gray mica, sonic silver metallic, titanium flash mica, blue reflex mica, deep crystal blue mica, and jet black mica.
The answer is simple: the 2016 Mazda CX-5.
Last month during our DFW staycation, I had the pleasure of partnering with the Mazda Corporation and driving the CX-5 for a week. As I prepared to drive the car initially, I felt right at home. I #DriveMazda already (although my Mazda is ten years old), but I knew this car would fit into my family’s lifestyle. The kids and I loved the smooth ride of the CX-5, but as a mom, I especially loved the latest safety, eco-friendly, and road assistance technology that Mazda offers it drivers.
Skyactiv is a brand name for a series of technologies developed by Mazda which increase fuel efficiency and engine output. Skyactiv Technology first appeared in Mazda vehicles in 2011 and help the CX-5 get 26 miles per gallon in the city and 35 miles per gallon on the highway. Additionally, all new Mazdas that are covered on the Mazda warranty program are eligible for roadside assistance and the free roadside assistance app from both the iTunes and Google app stores.
The keyless entry and engine start systems were a plus as most days my hands were full as I was getting in the car.

The communication system in this vehicle features blue tooth audio, connectivity for satellite radio subscribers, a rear back-up camera, and in some models a navigation system. One safety feature I loved while my phone was connected to the system via bluetooth was that it disabled text message or social media notifications so I was not distracted.
The 2016 Mazda CX-5 did not disappoint. In a perfect world, my teens would have preferred slightly more leg room in the back seat, however with two seated in the back and one in the passenger side of the front, they did manage to be comfortable. For all four though, it was definitely a keeper!

I was actually looking at this car when I was in the market. We ended up going with something a bit bigger and I am glad I did. We really need the room. I really loved the Mazda though, too!
I’ve never owned a Mazda. But, I love how sporty this one looks and the touch screen on the dash!

A car with more leg room in the back seat is always a plus for me. The features of 2016 Mazda CX-5 are so forward, especially the phone connection to the system via Bluetooth which disabled text message or social media notifications. It’s a great system to get away from this particular distraction.
Now that is one sleek and smooth car. I have always loved Mazda’s and the colour is just so beautiful xx

Awesome looking car! I love that it has roadside assistance as well, it definitely makes you feel safe while traveling because you know that you can rely on it whenever you’re going to need it. I like how spacious the car is, perfect for a large family!

Guess what? I just bought a Mazda CX-5 and I am loving it! I got the Grand Touring package. So far I am enjoying my ‘zoom-zoom’ moments, but I am still figuring out all of the features.
The most important features in a car to me are good sound in the bluetooth, roomy but small footprint because I don’t like to drive huge vehicles and gas mileage!
