Dear Lord,

Thank You for the voice I have that showcases the thoughts and feeling You have placed within my heart. Allow me to use them for good and to honestly express the way You want me to express myself to others.

Let others know that I follow You because of my speech, my words, and my tone. Let my voice be seasoned with grace, kindness, joy, friendship, love, and patience. Please let me apologize when my speech is unruly, bite my tongue when it’s necessary, and speak respectfully to all who can hear me. And especially Lord, let my speech reflect who You are within me.
