Dear Lord,

Thank you for the difference between contentment and happiness. Thank you for an eternally-focused peace that allows me to rise above the things I see that might make me uncomfortable and instead embrace the things I know that can happen within you.

I love you Lord, and I know that You can teach me how to be content in all situations. I will be content when I have plenty, content when I have nothing, content when the answer is right in front of me, and content when I have to seek You even more to find the answer.

For I know Lord, that the ultimate peace, understanding, and contentment comes from knowing who You are and trusting Your sovereignty.
