Lord,

I come to You today with a bowed head and open heart ready to seek wise counsel. Lord, I realize that You are the ultimate counselor and I am asking that You place the right people in my life to offer assistance, advice, and counsel. Let my friends and acquaintances be Christ followers who will filter their own words and actions through Your word, not giving me their opinions based on emotions and fear; but rather on truth and grace.
